Leaking

昨日の夜のことです。11時頃。

もう少しで読み終わる本が、佳境に入り、読みふけっていたところ、

帰ってきた旦那がガサゴソ……うっわあ！とかって叫んでる。

夜食をあさっとるんか？と思って起き出してみたところ、

ランドリールームの天井から水漏れ。

慌てました。あたふた。

うちは洗濯機と乾燥機がないので、ランドリールームは倉庫になっております。

空き箱やら、乾麺やら米やらを置いてあるわけですが

天井のスプリンクラーから水漏れで、食料にかかってるー。

ゴミ箱に溜まるようにしてみたところ、濁った汚い水だし。

とりあえず、上の人を訪問。

初めてお会いしましたうえの階のひと。

同じく天井から水漏れしてるとのこと。

アパートのオフィスの「緊急事態番号」に電話しました。

ところが、自動応答で、「外が３０Ｆなのに暖房がつかない、または８０Ｆ以上なのに冷房がつかない、もしくはトイレが流れない場合はメッセージを残してね。営業時間に掛け直します。」

だって。緊急事態の意味がわかってないし。

ま、本日の朝オフィスへ。とりあえず事態を説明して、男の人が見にきてくれたけど、「上の人も水漏れたっていってたからその上の人が怪しいね。」って。

結局なんだったのかわからん。

とりあえず食料は安全な場所へ移して、ゴミ箱は置いたままにしてます。

It happened last night. About 11:00pm.

When I was reading a book which was almost finished and got to be excited, my husband came back.

He made a noise and screamed 'oh,my god!'

I thought he was looking for snacks. I got up and realized that water was leaking from ceiling at laundry room.

Drop,drop,drop...

We were upset.

We don't have washer&driyer, so we use laundry room as storage.

We put away foods (dry noodles, rice,) and empty boxes in that room.

The water was dropping from sprinkler which was set up on the ceiling. It made foods wet.

We placed trash box so as to take drips. Oh, that drips was dirty.

We visited and asked upstair's family if they had a same problem.

They had. 

So we called apartment office 'emergency number'.

To my surprise, the automatic answer said ' although outside is below the 30F, is your air conditioner broken? Or although outside is over 80F, is your air conditioner broken? If so, we call you back during working hours.'

They don't know the meaning 'emergency '

We claimed office about that problem at the morning today.

The man inspected our laundry room, he told me 5th floor's unit might have source.

But, after all, we don't figure out the source.

I put foods away to another place, and left trash box as it is.
